Barcodes & Scanning · from the Team plan

Generate barcodes and scan with a USB scanner or your phone camera

Generate Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and QR codes for your products and assets, with automatic or manual SKUs. Scan with a USB barcode scanner (it works like a keyboard), a phone or laptop camera, or type the code — to look up items, receive stock, dispatch stock, count inventory or open an asset.

The problem

  • Typing product names at the counter
  • Mis-picked items in dispatch
  • Hours lost on manual stock counts

How it connects

  • Barcodes print on labels
  • Scans create ledger movements
  • Asset tags open asset history

Questions

Do I need to buy EAN/GTIN barcodes?

For your own internal use, Code 128 SKUs are free and work well. If you sell through retailers or marketplaces that require GS1 barcodes, you must obtain GTINs from GS1 India (or your country's GS1 organisation). Coopernut can encode a GTIN you own, but generating an EAN-shaped barcode does not give you a registered GTIN.
